the boat

Our boat is a custom built Saxe 55 expedition steel boat, built with steel reinforcement and double insulation to withstand ice and harsh conditions.
The boat has previously sailed on Greenland and Svalbard and it has been hired to make nature films for BBC and National Geographic (hence the platform at the back of the boat, which the film crew could be filming from, among other things, polar bears).

The boat has 5 cabins, and each cabin has a double bed and a small bunk bed or a bunk bed.
It comfortably accommodates 8 guests, skipper + 1 crew.

There are 2 bathrooms and 1 shower room on board the boat. The shower room can also be used as a drying cabinet for wet clothes / hiking equipment.

If you sail in the Nordic region, it is always good to have a warm boat! Even on summer evenings it can get chilly here in Norway / Nordic. On our boat you always have the opportunity to stay warm indoors.
If you feel a little cold while sailing, you can go into our wheelhouse and still have a 360 degree view of everything that is going on,
something very few other sailboats have.

The boat is a good platform for most things, whether it is diving, swimming, fishing, hiking, climbing trips, going to nice beaches to barebeque, learn to sail and navigate, get to know us and new people on a trip and enjoy Norwegian nature off the beaten track.
We have 2 sit-on-top kayaks, fishing equipment, diving masks and snorkels.
We have a 4 meter dinghy (Pioner Steady) that transports us to land / port / town / beach where we need it when we are at anchor.
This "taxi" is frequently used on our trips.
We have storage capacity on deck in waterproof boxes for any diving equipment / wetsuits, skis, climbing equipment +++
